Within minutes of Cypress Landing, you can charter
captained 42’ trimaran to sail the Pamlico
River and Pamlico Sound. Click here

Take a walk past the pleasure boats tied to the
slips and walk down to The Estuarium of North

Another interesting activity is the Fossil Museum
in Aurora, about ¾ of an hour from Cypress
Landing. It takes you back into the Miocene
age and the information displayed is aimed at

Periodically, air shows are scheduled at the Marine
Corps Air Station at Cherry Point (1 ½
hours from Cypress Landing), the Marine Corps
Station at New River (2 hours from Cypress Landing),
and the Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro
(2 hours from Cypress Landing). Both Cherry
Point and New River feature the USN Blue Angels. The New River air show also features the
Canadian Forces Snowbirds and the U.S. Army Special
Operations Command Parachute Demonstration Team. Seymour Johnson features the USAF
