| Robin Dare: “How thankful I am
that I live in such a place that reveres nature. How thankful
I am to experience such bliss on a daily basis.” |
| Wally Drexler: “Good boating
waters, excellent golf course, and best of all, great
people…we were looking for a new, friendly, open
community, and boy did we find it!” |

is beautiful and there are amenities galore (swimming,
boating, Club Social events, tennis)…The golf course
is a pleasure in a beautiful setting among tall pines.” |

people found Cypress Landing…our son calls it a
little slice of heaven.” |
| Jan Lamoreaux: “The people are
welcoming; activities plentiful; types and prices of homes
varied; golf course, marina, pools and other amenities
terrific; and there is the Pamlico River… which
takes us directly to the sound and ocean.” |
| Fred Lavin: “We had been looking
for close to 10 years… have never regretted our
decision (to move here)…the number of social events
and activities here is staggering…I enjoy playing
tennis and have found the four lighted Har-tru courts
to be very knee-friendly… there are a good number
of players…casual group doubles five or six mornings
a week …no trouble getting courts at any other hour.” |
| Bill Lord: “We went on a three
week exploratory trip just trying to determine a geographic
area for our retirement…We visited several places
in Maryland, Virginia, South and North Carolina …when
we arrived in CL we were immediately sold. We cut our
visit short, purchased our lot and began building within
a few months…The real benefits of living here are
the people who live here and broad range of activities
that are available. We absolutely love it here.” |
| Janet Neckyfarow: “Cypress Landing
isn’t just a community, it is a way of life…Our
activities have included fabulous concerts, wine tasting
parties. craft shows…parades, dinners, parties and
much, much more…Steve and I are both working right
now, but our weekends and evenings are filled with friends,
fun and fulfillment.” |
| Lane Schroeder: “A full moon
over Chocowinity Bay invites you all to come and play
where pine and cypress gently sway, enticing all who come
to stay…Please check out our bayside view and classy
docks to tie up to. There’s so much more that
you can do if Cypress Landing is right for you.” |
| Lee and Inge Smith: “Dear Friends
and Neighbors: We would like to express our sincere
thanks and gratitude to each and every one of you for
your kindness and help after Inge's return home from the
hospital, having had her spinal surgery. We simply
were overwhelmed by the many Get-Well wishes, phone calls,
flowers and visits from so many. We appreciated
the great tasting meals and feel so fortunate and blessed
to live in such a caring community! To quote Dorothy
from the "Wizard of Oz": - There is no place
like home - well, "There is no place like Cypress
Landing". With many grateful thanks, Inge and
Lee Smith.” |
| Allan and Maja Weaver: “Too many
choices, where do we start... We selected boating, but
there is also golf, tennis, swimming and much more…The
many social interactions create a sense of community where
we are able to share our hobbies and interest.” |
